The Quality Assurance and Institutional Advancement Department at the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ QAIA) supports the University to achieve its mission, initiates quality control activities, and contributes to self-assessment processes which are integral parts of educational activities and aligned with international accreditation standards. CHEA CIQG, United States
The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Quality Group (CIQG). The CHEA International Quality Group is a rewarding and important forum for colleges, universities, accrediting and quality assurance organizations and others worldwide to address issues and challenges focused on quality and quality assurance in an international setting.
Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, United Kingdom
The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ is a Full International Member of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
QAA is one of the world’s experts in quality assurance that is trusted by higher education providers and regulatory bodies to maintain and enhance quality and standards.
Full international membership is available only to institutions who achieve the QAA Global Accreditation.
As part of this accreditation, the IQR team found eleven examples of good practice. The team also made four recommendations which are of a desirable for improvement and enhancement. Committed to excellence and as part of the IQR process, the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ developed an action plan to maintain the 11 good practices and address the 4 recommendations for further enhancement.
QAA Global Accreditation
The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ has successfully obtained global accreditation having completed the International Quality Review (IQR) by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). IQR is a rigorous process, which benchmarks global higher education institutions against international quality assurance standards set out in Part 1 of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
