º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ BS Degrees, your Pathway to Graduate Programs at Babson
The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½) and Babson have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that allows º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ Bachelor's Degree (BS) graduates, who meet established criteria, to enroll in the Graduate programs at Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
Under this new agreement, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students and alumni who are planning to continue their graduate studies in the USA now have a facilitated path to Babson. They will have the opportunity to apply and be admitted to any of the offered Master’s degrees at Babson among which are: Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), Master of Science in Finance (MSF), Master of Science in Management in Advanced Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership (MSEL).
Babson College is a private business school in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Established in 1919, its central focus is on entrepreneurship education. Babson is considered among the world’s top business schools and is ranked number 1 for Entrepreneurship for 26th Year by U.S. News & World Report. Babson is also triple-crown accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), and AMBA (Association of MBAs).
All º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ graduates applying into Babson’s graduate programs will get special treatment, among which are a GMAT/GRE waiver and an application fee waiver. In addition, a designated admission specialist will be dedicating their time and effort to help º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½’ers throughout the application process. More importantly, admitted students from º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ will get a $ 10,000 scholarship.
This new collaboration will open wider doors to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students pursuing high-caliber educational and professional opportunities abroad.
It is worth noting that this is not the first collaboration between º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ and Babson. In 2020, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ became a member of the Babson Collaborative for Entrepreneurship Education. Universities and colleges seeking to increase their capability and capacity in entrepreneurship education join forces under this Collaborative with a common belief that institutions acting together will achieve more than each working alone towards its entrepreneurial goals.
Following º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½’s membership, several engagement activities took place by º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ faculty and students such as participating in seminars, competitions, and professional development activities. Five º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ faculty are members of Babson’s Diana International Research Institute, an organization that convenes and connects a global community to collectively identify, investigate, and share best practices that lead to further research and practical approaches supporting women entrepreneurs and their businesses.
In addition to the above, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ students were selected as finalists in Babson’s Global Student Challenge 2021 after being shortlisted among the top 10 teams nominated out of 178 participating teams from universities across the world. The project that qualified the team to reach the finals is titled “Paving the way to a sustainable future in Kuwait”, which touches upon several goals of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
